Spiritual Significance of Judea and Samaria

The perennial effort to "make peace" in the Middle East is really an effort by the nations of the world to wrestle Judea and Samaria from the hands of the people of Israel and so delay the advent of the God of Israel's redemption in the earth.

The Apostasy

In 2 Thessalonians, Paul writes of the "man of sin" taking his place in the "naos" of God. This term, naos, is universally translated as "temple" by interpreters. However, in every other place that Paul uses the term, he is referring to the local church body of Messiah. This week's program investigates the implications of this more likely interpretation of the passage: namely, that the apostasy to which Paul refers is the gradual replacement in Christianity, as well as the world, of the fear of God with Greek humanism.

Paul: The Mission of the Church

Following the previous excerpt from the Tzemach Institute Online Bible Course, (Mis) Understanding Romans, this video looks at Paul's vision of the Kingdom of God and of the mission of the local church. Pastor Garrison demonstrates that the vision set forth by Paul remained true to Jesus' proclamation of the Kingdom of God and provides a practical vision for local chuches to factor into the God of Israel's plan of redemption. Five Themes of Bible Prophecy

The "Daniel 7 Mistake"

When interpreting the sequence of empires represented by beasts in Daniel 7, popular prophecy experts typically begin with the kingdom of Babylon. This week's Tzemach Institute program takes a look at the Scriptures to discover why this is a mistake and what the ramifications of this mistake are in understanding what is happening in the last days.

(Mis) Understanding Romans

To whom is Paul speaking in Romans 2.17?

"But if you call yourself a Jew..."

Every one of the listed 15 commentaries (we stopped looking after 15)  as well as prominent theologians such as Sanders and Dunn, assume that Paul is speaking to Jews in general. However, he wrote the letter to believers at Rome. Could they ALL be wrong? In this teaching on Romans, excerpted from the Tzemach Institute, Ken Garrison provides a pastor's perspective on Paul's letter and maintains that Paul is addressing Jewish believers, not Jews in general, as he focuses on unity in the body of Messiah.

The Process of Redemption

The new religion tends to look at the Hebrew Scriptures as a long preface to the Gospels and Letters. From such a perspective come terminology like "the Old Testament". However, God did not start over with Jesus. In fact, the office of Messiah in which Jesus sits only finds its true meaning within the nation of Israel. The process of Redemption then, as this week's program details, has been progressing since at least the days of Abraham and followers of Messiah Jesus need to understand it in order to function in God's purposes today.

The Economic Crisis

Jon Klein is back from Israel and gives a report from his tour through Judea and Samaria. The balance of the program looks at the current economic crisis.

The Tabernacle and the Proper Approach to the God of Israel

In Exodus 25:8, the God of Israel commands His people to build a dwelling for Him and declares His intention to dwell in their midst and, by extension, in the midst of the earth. At the end of the Book of Revelation, we see the same picture of the Tabernacle coming down out of the sky and the God of Israel's intention to dwell in the midst of His people.

This week's program investigates the prophetic significance of the Tabernacle's layout and looks at how Christianity has misunderstood and misapplied Jesus' statement (John 14:6) about the proper approach to His Father. (dialup users use the smaller video).

Biblical Festivals

While Christians celebrate "Holy Week" culminating in Easter, this week's program focuses on Leviticus 23 as a guideline for Biblical Festivals or, as the God of Israel says, "My festivals". The festivals include: the weekly Shabbat (sabbath), Passover, Firstfruits, Shavuot (Pentecost), Sukkot (Booths) and more...

Justification, Election and Judgment

Over the past 2,000 years, the Biblical concepts of justification, election, salvation and final judgment have been twisted into unbiblical teaching and misunderstanding within Christianity. Today, they are popularly combined into the concept of "getting saved" (or other similar phrase) and avoiding hell. This week's Tzemach Institute looks at these concepts and attempts to untie the knot (dialup users use the smaller video).

Interview with Raphaella Segal & Shoshannah Shilo

These two women recently visited us from the Jewish community of Kedumim in Samaria, Israel. They share their faith, courage and vision about the God of Israel's work of Redemption, the situation in Gaza, the Iranian threat and more...

Everything that Can Be Shaken...

The account of the God of Israel's judgment of the gods of Egypt during the Exodus provides us with a glimpse of the coming judgment that the God of Israel will execute on the gods of today. Just as the people of Egypt looked to their numerous gods for protection and provision, today the world looks to the Earth, Military Strength and Economic Prosperity instead of to the God of Israel. These philosophical gods will be crushed and shown as untrustworthy to the nations of the world as Redemption occurs.

America's Choice

The new US Administration, like the one before it faces many challenges and decisions: perhaps the single most significant decision by which the united States will be judged is its actions towards the God of Israel's ONLY anointed nation, Israel. This week's program looks at the decision before the USA and the consequences that will result (for dialup, use the smaller video player at the bottom of the post).

America's Choice

America can choose to follow God or to pursue economic prosperity. Perhaps the choice has already been made?
